Square One’s affiliate program for Canada

The affiliate program is a quick and easy way for you to earn money from your website (or blog) by referring your visitors to Square One for home insurance. Once you’re an approved affiliate, simply include a widget on your website. Square One takes care of the rest. Plus, you get paid CA$50 for each qualified tenant insurance policy, CA$100 for each qualified condo owners insurance policy, and $175 for each qualified homeowners insurance policy that’s purchased by one of your visitors.

What is the widget?

Your website’s visitors can use this tool to start a home insurance quote with Square One. It’s super simple to add the widget to your website. The custom widget allows Square One to track visitors referred by your website. And, the accent colour on the widget can be changed to match your website. You can see what the widget looks like, and how it functions, below. In addition to the widget, you receive a hyperlink that functions in the similar way to the widget.

How do you get paid?

At the end of each calendar quarter, Square One will email you an activity report. You will invoice Square One according to this report, and Square One will mail a cheque to you.

The report will detail:

  • The number of qualified clicks generated;
  • The number of policies sold; and,
  • The amount earned.

You will earn CA$50 for each tenant insurance policy, CA$100 for each condo owners insurance policy, and CA$175 for each homeowners insurance policy purchased that is referred from your website using the custom widget (or hyperlink).

How do you become an affiliate?

To become a Square One affiliate, your website or blog must:

  • Appeal to visitors from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario; and,
  • Focus on home, finance, insurance or real estate related topics.
